Buthidaung township, Tha Peik Taung village is being burnt down by the terrorist military

Residents have confirmed that the 22nd Division of the terrorist military started burning Tha Peik Taung village (Rakhine) near the No. 8 Border Guard Police Battalion in the southern Buthidaung Township on September 23rd at 9:00 p.m. today.

There is Ah Lal Chaung Rohingya village near No.8 Border Guard Police Battalion, and the Tha Peik Taung village is also located nearby.

”The troops are burning Rakhine village. The troops have been in the village for a while. Since last night, heavy weapons have been fired until now,” a Rohingya from the Ah Lal Chaung village told the MPA.

Some local residents said that the Na-Kha-Kha 8 and Kin Chaung police outposts started firing heavy weapons this morning, as well as Tha Peik Taung and some local residents from Kin Chaung village also fled.

“The 22nd Division burned Rohingya villages in the past. Now they are doing the same to Rakhine villages. We are also afraid.,” said another Rohingya resident from the Ah Lal Chaung village.

The Rohingyas said that the No. 8 Border Guard Police Battalion was built to erase all evidence on the bodies of the Rohingyas who had been killed and committed massacres against the Rohingya people in 2017.

Residents said that there was no fighting between the Arakan Army (AA) and the terrorist military near the village that the terrorist military is now burning, and it was being done deliberately by the terrorist military.
