BJP leader manifests hate against Muslim in Indian Parliament, only receives warning

BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri, whose egregious communal comments in parliament have ignited massive outrage, received a warning today of “severe action” from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.

In a video from Lok Sabha, Mr Bidhuri repeatedly hurls abuses and Islamophobic slurs at Muslim MP Danish Ali while making a point.

In the Darjeeling and Kalimpong hills of West Bengal, stickers and posters demanding the release of the 11th Panchen Lama from alleged forced confinement by the Chinese authorities can be spotted in many of the shops owned by the Tibetan refugee population. The Panchen Lama is considered the second-highest spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists, after the Dalai Lama, and has been one of the contentious issues of China and the Dalai Lama’s battle over Tibet and Tibetan Buddhism.

Delhi BJP leaders called the clashes during a Hanuman Jayanti procession in northwest Delhi’s Jahangirpuri a “conspiracy” and demanded a probe into the role of “illegal immigrants” in the incident. Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta and party MP Manoj Tiwari said the attack on the procession was not a spontaneous incident, but a conspiracy.

New Delhi : After communal clashes broke out in Delhi ’s Jahangirpuri on Saturday evening, the BJP has pinned the blame on illegal immigrants.

Calling the clashes during a Hanuman Jayanti procession in northwest Delhi’s Jahangirpuri a “conspiracy”, Delhi BJP leaders have demanded a probe into the role of “illegal immigrants” in the incident.

Hyderabad: The BJP gave further momentum to its highly successful and surcharged narrative setting campaign for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, with a steady featuring of national leaders.

Union minister for textiles Smriti Irani on Wednesday further kept the pot boiling on the issue of illegal immigration in the Old City, sternly castigating the ruling combine of the TRS and the MIM over the ‘hospitality’ to the Rohingyas and Pakistanis and Bangladeshis.

Owaisi challenges BJP to show names of 100 Rohingya refugees in voters

Owaisi said that his opponents targeted him and his party all the time “thinking we are soft targets". 
 

Hyderabad: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday challenged the BJP to show the names of 100 Rohingya refugees on the voters’ list, after a BJP leader had claimed that 40,000 Rohingya had succeeded in getting listed as voters. 

Speaking at election meetings in Mallepally and Red Hills on Sunday night, Owaisi asked that if Rohingya were present in the city in that large numbers, why were Union home minister Amit Shah, the home ministry and the Intelligence Bureau quiet. “What are they doing? Exile them. What is the connection with us,” Owaisi asked.

Earlier this month, India sparked panic among its long-suffering Rohingya refugee population by deporting a family of five to their home country of Myanmar, where they will most certainly face human rights violations and imprisonment. This expulsion came on the heels of the controversially forced repatriation of seven Rohingya men last October.
