Gunfight at Rohingya camp: 3 injured ARSA men held in Ukhiya

A gunfight took place between the members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) and Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) at Balukhali Rohingya Camp in Ukhiya of Cox’s Bazar early Thursday.

Three ARSA men, who were injured during gun battle, were also held by the elite force.

The arrestees are- Abul Hasem, 30, son of Solaiman of Camp-6, Ruhul Amin, 23, son of Abdus Sharif of the same camp and Kamrul Hasan, 22, son of Abdul Majed of Camp-7.

APBn 14-Battalion commander Syed Harun-ur-Rashid acknowledging the matter said the alleged ARSA members were trying to abduct a Rohingya leader, locally known as Majhi, from the camp.

Being informed they rushed to the camp but the ARSA men opened fire on them, triggering the gunfight.

The two and half hours long confrontation occurred from 4.30am to 7am at Block-D at Camp-6 and Camp-7.

At one stage, the militant group members tried to flee the spot. But the APBn men chased them and detained three injured ARSA men.

The official said they also seized locally made shotgun and six rounds of bullets from their possessions. A case has been filed with the Ukhiya Police Station in connection of the incident.

Rohingya man killed, 5 injured in Cox's Bazar gunfight

A Rohingya man was killed and five others, including a member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), were injured during a gunfight between BGB and a group of drug dealers at Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar district on Wednesday.

The incident took place at around 1pm in Leda area under Hnila union of the upazila.
The deceased was identified as Md Rafique Miah, 51, a resident of Rohingya Camp No-24, and the injured were Tawhidul Islam, Md Ismail, Md Usman, Mujibur Rahman, and the identities of another injured could not be known immediately.

BGB-2, Teknaf Camp Commander Lt Col Mohiuddin said based on secret information, a team of the battalion conducted a raid in the area and arrested a drug peddler at around 12.30pm.

A clash broke out between BGB personnel and a group of drug dealers when they tried to snatch the arrestee, leaving a BGB man critically injured.

"At one stage of the clash, BGB men had to fire in self defence as the miscreants opened fire on us. A Rohingya man died on the spot and five others sustained bullet injuries," he said.

The injured were taken to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, he added.

RAB-15 သည် Cox's Bazar ၏ Teknaf တွင် ဝင်ရောက်စီးနင်းမှုတွင် အကြမ်းဖက်အဖွဲ့ Arsa နှင့် Kutupalong Rohingya စခန်းရှိ စစ်ဗိုလ်ကြီး Hafez Noor Mohammad အပါအဝင် လူ ၆ ဦးကို ဖမ်းဆီးခဲ့သည်။ 

သောကြာနေ့ (ဇူလိုင် 21) တွင် Teknaf ရှိ Baharchhara ၏ Shamlapur ဧရိယာရှိ Gaheen Hill မှလက်နက် များနှင့်အတူဖမ်းဆီးခဲ့သည်။

 

Noor Mohammad မှလွဲ၍ အခြားသော Arsa အဖွဲ့ဝင်များမှာ Hussain Johar, Farooq, Monir Ahmed, Noor Islam နှင့် Yashin တို့ဖြစ်သည်။ ၎င်းတို့အားလုံးသည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများဖြစ်သည်။  

ထိုအချိန်တွင် ပွိုင့် ၆၅ မီလီမီတာ ပစ္စတို ၁ လက်၊ နိုင်ငံခြား ခြောက်လုံးပြူး ၁ လက်၊ သေနတ်တို ၁ လက်၊ ပြည် တွင်း LG လေးလက်၊ ကျည် ၃ တောင့်နှင့် ငွေသား ၇၀,ဝဝဝ အပါအဝင် ကျည်ဆန်များ သိမ်းဆည်းရမိခဲ့သည်။

 

RAB ၏ ဥပဒေနှင့် မီဒီယာအဖွဲ့ ဒါရိုက်တာ Khandaker Al Moin က ဇူလိုင်လ ၂၂ ရက် စနေနေ့ နံနက်ပိုင်းက RAB-15 Cox's Bazar ရုံးတွင် ပြုလုပ်သည့် သတင်းစာရှင်းလင်းပွဲတွင် အဆိုပါ အချက်အလက်ကို အတည်ပြု ခဲ့သည်။

အထူးသတင်းထောက် :: ရက္ခိုင့် ရိုဟင်ဂျာ ကယ်တင်ရေး တပ်မတော် (Arsa) နှင့် Arakan Solidarity Organisation (RSO) တို့ ကော့ဘဇားနယ်စပ်ရှိ Ukhia-Teknaf ရိုဟင်ဂျာ ဒုက္ခသည် စခန်းများတွင် ယခုအခါ အထိတ်တလန့် ဖြစ်ပွားလျက် ရှိသည်။ ပဋိပက္ခကြောင့် လက်နက်ကိုင် အကြမ်းဖက်သမား အများအပြားသည် ကွဲပြားသော အုပ်စုများ ခွဲကာ ရိုဟင်ဂျာ စခန်းများတွင် ခိုလှုံခဲ့ကြပါသည်။  

 

သောကြာနေ့ (ဇူလိုင်လ ၇ ရက်) နံနက် ၆း၃၀ နာရီခန့်က ကော့ဘဇားမြို့ရှိ ဘာလူခါလီ ရိုဟင်ဂျာစခန်းတွင် ရက္ခိုင့်တပ်မတော် (ARSA) နှင့် ရခိုင်သွေးစည်းညီညွတ်ရေးအဖွဲ့ (RSO) တို့အကြား ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သော ပစ်ခတ်မှု vတွင် လူ ၅ ဦး သေဆုံးခဲ့သည်။  

သေဆုံးသူအားလုံးဟာ Arsa အဖွဲ့ဝင်တွေဖြစ်ကြောင်း အတည်ပြုခဲ့ပါတယ်။”  

 

ARSA နှင့် RSO အကြား ပစ်ခတ်မှုတွင် လူ ၃ ဦး ပွဲချင်းပြီး သေဆုံးကာ ၂ ဦး ဆေးရုံတွင် ဆေးကုသမှု ခံယူနေ စဉ် သေဆုံးခဲ့သည်။ သေဆုံးသူ လေးဦးကို ဖော်ထုတ်နိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ 

၎င်းတို့မှာ Anwar Hossain (24)၊ Mohammad Hamim (16)၊ Camp-8 West တွင်နေထိုင်သူ၊ Camp-13 မှ Nurul Amin (24) နှင့် Camp-10 မှ Md. Nazimullah နှင့် အမည်မဖော်လိုသူ အသက် ၂၅ နှစ်အရွယ် ရိုဟင်ဂျာ တစ်ဦးဖြစ်သည်။

လက်နက်ကိုင် နှစ်ဖွဲ့ကြား ပစ်ခတ်မှုနှင့် တိုက်ပွဲများတွင် ရိုဟင်ဂျာ ငါးဦး သေဆုံးခဲ့ကြောင်း အတည်ပြု ပြောကြားခဲ့ ပါသည်။ ၎င်းတို့အနက် သုံးဦးမှာ အခင်းဖြစ်နေရာတွင် သေဆုံးသွားခဲ့ပြီး ကျန်နှစ်ဦးမှာ သေနတ်ဒဏ်ရာများဖြင့် အမိုးအကာရှိ ဆေးရုံသို့ ပို့ဆောင်ထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။
