ICC အိုင္စီစီ တရားရံုးခ်ဳပ္ ေရွ့ေန Fatou Bensouda မွ ရိုဟင္ဂ်ာမ်ားသို့ သတင္းစကား။ ရုိဟင္ဂ်ာ ဘာသာ စကားၿဖင့္ ၿပန္ဆိုထားပါသည္။

၂ဝ၁၇ခုႏွစ္ ၾသဂုတ္လက ျမန္မာလုံျခဳေရးတပ္ေတြရဲ့ တိုက္ခိုက္မႈေတြေၾကာင့္ လူ ၇ သိန္းေက်ာ္ ဘဂၤလား ေဒ့ရွ္နိုင္ငံဘက္ကို ထြက္ေျပးရတဲ့ကိစၥကို စုံစမ္းစစ္ေဆးဖို႔ အျပည္ျပည္ဆိုင္ရာ ရာဇဝတ္ခုံ႐ုံး ICC က ၾကာ သပေတးေန႔က ခြင့္ျပဳလိုက္ပါတယ္။

ျမန္မာလုံျခဳံေရးတပ္ဖြဲ႕ေတြ အၾကမ္းဖက္က်ဴးလြန္မႈေတြ က်ယ္က်ယ္ျပန႔္ျပန႔္က်ဴးလြန္ခဲ့တယ္ဆိုတဲ့ ယုံၾကည္ ေလာက္တဲ့ အေထာက္အထားေတြရွိတယ္လို႔ ICC က ေျပာပါတယ္။ ဒီအမႈအတြက္ ICC က အႀကိဳဖြဲ႕စည္း
တဲ့ တရား႐ုံးမွာ တရားသူႀကီးသုံးဦးကို တာဝန္ေပးထားတာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံနဲ႔ ပတ္သက္ၿပီး ICC ေခၚ အျပည္ျပည္ဆိုင္ရာ ရာဇ၀တ္မႈခင္းဆိုင္ရာ တရားရုံးက ဇူလိုင္လ ၄ ရက္ေန႔မွာ သတင္း တစ္ရပ္ ထုတ္ျပန္ခဲ့ရာမွာ ျမန္မာ-ဘဂၤလားေဒ့ရွ္အၾကားက အေျခအေနနဲ႔ ပတ္သက္ျပီး ICC အေနနဲ႔ စုံစမ္းစစ္ေဆးမႈေတြ စတင္ လုပ္ေဆာင္ႏုိင္ဖို႔ အတြက္ ဥပေဒ အခြင့္အာဏာ ေပးအပ္ဖို႔ ICC ေရွ႕ေန Fatou Bensouda က ICC တရားသူႀကီးေတြထံ ေတာင္းဆိုခဲ့ေၾကာင္း ေဖာ္ျပပါရွိခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ဒီလို ေတာင္းဆိုခဲ႔ၿပီးတဲ့ေနာက္ ICC ေရွ႕လွမ္းလာမယ့္ ေျခလွမ္းနဲ႔ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံအေပၚ အက်ိဳးသက္ေရာက္မႈ ဘယ္လို ရွိႏုိင္ မလဲဆိုတာကို Asian Human Rights Council က ေရွ႕ေန ဦးမင္းလြင္ဦး ကို ကိုရဲမင္းထြန္းက ေမးျမန္းတင္ဆက္ထားပါတယ္။

THE HAGUE, Netherlands — The International Criminal Court’s chief prosecutor says she wants to open an investigation into alleged crimes against Rohingya Muslims as they fled Myanmar and into Bangladesh.

The court announced Wednesday that a panel of judges will consider whether to authorize Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda’s request, which has not yet been filed.

Myanmar will not be a hindrance to the International Criminal Court (ICC) “in anyway” for investigation into the Rohingya atrocities and prosecution of individuals responsible, if the legal criteria are met, the delegation from The Hague-based court’s prosecutor said.

This is despite the fact the Myanmar is not a party to the Rome Statute and is not cooperating with the ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda’s office.
