A Rohingya youth was shot to death by miscreants at Ukhiya upazila in Cox's Bazar district on Friday evening.

The incident took place at around 6.30pm in Jamtoli Rohingya Camp no-15 in the upazila.

More than 150 murders reported in Rohingya camps in Bangladesh since 2017

A Rohingya woman was shot dead at a refugee camp in Bangladesh’s southeastern Cox’s Bazar district, the 24th such killing this year.

Two more women – a Rohingya community leader named Monira Begum and her daughter Noor Fatema – were wounded in the shooting at the Nayapara refugee camp, officials said.

A group of some 15 assailants led by a Rohingya man targeted Monira’s house, according to Mohammad Jamal Pasha, a police official in Cox’s Bazar.

Another Rohingya leader was killed in a span of 12 hours, in Balukhali camp in Ukhiya upazila of Cox's Bazar early Sunday.

The deceased was Mohammad Selim, 35, son of Abdus Sobhan of the camp.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhiya police station Sheikh Mohammad Ali said Selim was killed after a group of miscreants “from Arsa” called him from his house early in the morning and shot him.

A police team reached the spot after receiving the information, but the miscreants had already fled the area, he said.

Sept 29 (Reuters) - Gunmen shot and killed a prominent Rohingya Muslim leader in a refugee camp in southern Bangladesh on Wednesday, a United Nations spokesperson and a local police official said, following months of worsening violence in the world's largest refugee settlement.

Mohib Ullah, who was in his late 40s, led one of the largest of several community groups to emerge since more than 730,000 Rohingya Muslims fled Myanmar after a military crackdown in August 2017.

3 brothers shot by Rohingyas in Teknaf, police say

Three locals, brothers, were hospitalised after being shot and critically injured by a group of armed Rohingyas in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, police said.

The injured are Rahmatullah (30), Salamatullah (22), and Mohammad Hossain (18) -- sons of Habibur Rahman.

The incident happened at Jadimura Rohingya Camp no. 27 near Nature Park area in Hnila union of Teknaf upazila at 3:30am today, reports our correspondent quoting police.

A seven-year-old girl has been shot dead in Myanmar, becoming the youngest known victim in the crackdown following last month's military coup.

Khin Myo Chit's family told the BBC she was killed by police while she ran towards her father, during a raid on their home in the city of Mandalay.

Myanmar's military has been increasing its use of force as protests continue.

Rights group Save the Children says more than 20 children are among dozens of people who have been killed.

In total, the military says 164 people have been killed in protests, while the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) activist group puts the death toll at at least 261.

Rohingya terrorists have shot dead a 21-year-old man over exerting dominance in a Rohingya camp in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar.

The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday at the Nayapara Rohingya camp, Armed Police Battalion (APBN) informed reporters.

The deceased was identified as Dil Mohammad's son, Mohammad Zubair, 21, from block-C of Nayapara camp in Teknaf. He was a member of a local terrorist group named Salman Shah group.
