The world community is aghast over the acute tensions between the United States and its NATO allies on one side and Russia on the other, which is poised critically on the brink of a military confrontation, the likes of which the world didn’t see in the entire Cold War era.

The shocking part is that it has become a no-holds barred struggle that is being fought tooth and claw, as hidden racial and religious prejudices lying just below the surface have welled to the surface in the Western world.

 The Activist Rohingya exiled in Germany nay San Lwin said this Friday in an interview with efe that the Nobel Peace prize and leader of Myanmar (Ancient Burma), Aung San Suu Kyi, " is an accomplice of genocide " and must be considered a " Denialist ".

" there were a lot of people, especially the diplomatic world, who said I was not well informed. Tuesday had the possibility to listen to a three-hour presentation at the international court of justice (Icj) that described how the rohingya were massacred by their army ", explained San Lwin.

"Había mucha gente, especialmente del mundo diplomático, que decía que no estaba bien informada. Rohingya crisis: Bangladesh exhorts Germany to put pressure on Myanmar

Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen has urged his German counterpart Heiko Maas to exert pressure on Myanmar to create a conducive environment for the return of the forcibly displaced Rohingyas.

 

In his maiden bilateral meeting with his German equivalent, Momen outlined the four points proposed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the 74th United Nations General Assembly last month.

He also urged the European nation and the international community to take 'effective steps' to ensure that Myanmar facilitates the safe, secure, dignified and sustainable repatriation of the Rohingya refugees.

Bangladesh has urged Germany to put pressure on Myanmar so that they can start taking their nationals back, noting that not a single Rohingya has been repatriated over the last two years.
