တို့မြန်မာပြည်က လူရိုင်းသူယုတ်မာ အချို့သည် ရိုဟင်ဂျာစကားနှင့် ဘင်္ဂါလီစကားသည် တစ်မျိုးတည်း၊ အတူ တူ ပင်ဖြစ်သည်ဟု ထင်မြင်ယူဆကြသည်။ ရိုဟင်ဂျာလူမျိုးကို ဘင်္ဂါလီဟု စွပ်စွဲကြသည်။ လူလူချင်း အထင် သေး အမြင်ကတ် နေကြသည်။ မည်သည့်လူမျိုးပင်ဖြစ်စေ၊ မည်သည့် ဘာသာပင် ကိုးကွယ်သည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ မည်သည့် အ သားအရောင်ပင်ဖြစ်စေကာမူ လူလူချင်း ကဲ့ရဲ့မုန်းတီးခြင်းသည် ယဉ်ကျေးသော လူ့အသိုင်းအဝိုင်း ၏ လက္ခဏာ မဟုတ်ပေ။ ဉာဏ်ပညာမရှိသော တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့၏ စရိုက်ပင် ဖြစ်သည်။ မိမိကိုယ့်ကို အမျိုးဂုဏ်မြင့်ဟန် ကြွားဝါး သော် လည်း ထိုကြွားဝါးမှုသည် စာအုပ်စာပေ၌သာ အဖတ်ကောင်းမည်သာ။ အဆိုပါအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းကို တကယ့် လက်တွေ့ကျကျ လေ့လာကြည့်သော် သူတို့၏ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအဆင့် မည်မျှပင် အောက်တန်းကျနေသည်ကို တွေ့ရ လျှင် သရော်ခံရပေလိမ့်မည်။ ဤသို့ ဖြစ်ရခြင်းမှာ ကိုယ်တိုင်လေ့လာမှုမရှိ၊ ဉာဏ်ပညာ အားနည်း၍ သူများ က တိုင်း လိုက်ကပြသည့်အတွက်ပင် ဖြစ်ရခြင်းများသည်။ တကယ့် ကွင်းဆင်း လေ့လာမှုမရှိဘဲ သူများယောင်တိုင်း ဘုမသိဘမသိ ထောက်ခံပြောဆိုကြသည်မှာ တို့ဗမာပြည်၌ အများဆုံး ဖြစ်ပေသည်။ ဤသည်မှာ အဘယ် ယုတ္တိ ရှိပါမည်နည်း။

Displaced Rohingya children, living at Cox’s Bazar refugee camps, are going to have an opportunity to develop their learning skills by reading juvenile stories in English and Burmese languages, disclosed officers of Room to Read Bangladesh during a discussion in the district on Monday.

Caught between a host country trying to hinder their integration and a home country holding back their return, Rohingya children find themselves in linguistic limbo.

COX'S BAZAR — When Mohammed Reyas works on his math classwork, his mind splits among multiple languages.

The 11-year-old, a Rohingya refugee from Myanmar, starts counting in Burmese: "Tit, hnit, thone." He then switches to Bangla: "Char, panch, chhoy." Then Rohingya: "Hant, anchtho, no." Finally, he finishes in English: "Ten, eleven, twelve."
