At least 185 Rohingya refugees have landed in Indonesia’s northernmost province of Aceh after drifting at sea for weeks, police and rights activists said.
The boat came ashore in Ujong Pie village on Monday, a day after a wooden vessel with 57 Rohingya people landed in another part of Aceh on Christmas Day.

A boat carrying more than 180 Rohingya asylum seekers which has been drifting without power for weeks has been allowed to land some of the passengers in the Indonesian province of Aceh.
This is the second boat carrying Rohingyas to have arrived in Aceh in the past two days.
Another boat with 180 on board is thought to have sunk in early December, NGOs and family members say.
The Rohingya are a persecuted ethnic minority in their home in Myanmar.
More than a million now live in overcrowded camps in southern Bangladesh following a campaign against them by the Myanmar military which the UN believes could amount to a genocide.

NUG has yet to cooperate with the Rohingya. About the genocide, the
United States officially recognized [the Myanmar military’s 2017
operation against the Rohingya] as genocide and the case is also being
heard at the International Court of Justice. What will be the NUG’s
position? It has not recognized it as genocide. When will it recognize
it? Rather than cooperating only when necessary, the NUG should
cooperate extensively with Rohingya leaders and activists to find a
solution to the issue.

NEW DELHI, Dec 25 (Reuters) - At least 180 ethnic Rohingya stranded at sea for weeks after leaving Bangladesh in November are feared dead, as their rickety boat is thought to have sunk this month, the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) said.
Citing unconfirmed reports, the agency said the "unseaworthy" boat probably sank after it went missing in the sea.
"Relatives have lost contact," the UNHCR wrote on Twitter on Saturday. "Those last in touch presume all are dead."
