Rakhine Political Parties to Meet Over Myanmar Official’s Remarks on Ethnic Army.

A Rakhine political party said Wednesday that it will hold a meeting in Rakhine state’s capital Sittwe to discuss a warning by a central government spokesman this week against support for the region’s ethnic military force following a deadly attack it conducted on police outposts.

ျပည္တြင္းမွာ ရခိုင္အမ်ိဳးသားအဆင့္ ႏိုင္ငံေရးေဆြးေႏြးပြဲ က်င္းပခြင့္မရေသးတာေၾကာင့္ ရခိုင္အမ်ိဳးသားေတြ ရဲ႕ ဘံုသေဘာတူညီခ်က္ ရရွိႏိုင္ေရးအတြက္ ရခိုင္ျပည္ အမ်ိဳးသားေကာင္စီ ANC က ဦးေဆာင္ၿပီး ႏွီးေႏွာ ဖလွယ္ပြဲ တစ္ရပ္ကို ထိုင္းႏိုင္ငံ၊ မဲေဆာက္ၿမိဳ႕မွာ ၅ ရက္ၾကာ က်င္းပခဲ့ပါတယ္။

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday threw his support behind a Myanmar commission to address human rights issues in troubled Rakhine state, chaired by his predecessor Kofi Annan, despite objections from ethnic Rakhine lawmakers.
