Rohingya Denounces ARSA

 We, the undersigned Rohingya organizations, denounce the so-called "Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army – ARSA" (or Harakah Al Yakeen), a criminal group that self-proclaims to be fighting for the rights of the Rohingya people. The Rohingya community does not accept ARSA as a group that represents the ideals and interests of the Rohingya community in or outside of Burma. Thus, the group must not claim it represents the interests of the Rohingya nation.

Lawyers in the UK and the US on Monday initiated coordinated legal campaigns against Facebook, now known as Meta, on behalf of Rohingya Muslims for its alleged role in facilitating the genocide perpetrated by the Myanmar regime and extremist civilians against the Rohingya people.  

 

According to the lawyers, Facebook contributed to the 2017 genocide of Rohingya Muslims by allowing hate speech against the persecuted minority to be propagated in Myanmar. The United Nations had described the violence as "a textbook example of ethnic cleansing".

BANGKOK (AP) — An army vehicle plowed into a peaceful march by anti-government protesters in military-ruled Myanmar’s biggest city, reportedly killing at least three people, witnesses and a protest organizer said.

Sunday’s march was one of at least three held in Yangon, and similar rallies were reported in other parts of the country a day ahead of an expected verdict in the first of about a dozen criminal cases against former leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who was toppled in a military takeover on Feb. 1.

(CNN)At least five people were killed in Myanmar when a vehicle plowed into anti-junta protesters this weekend, according to local media. The attack took place in a Yangon township, news outlet Myanmar Now reported Sunday, citing protesters and eyewitnesses. 

One reporter who witnessed the incident told CNN that it was a military vehicle that rammed demonstrators.

While the military junta continues its scorched earth offensives, particularly in Chin State, Sagaing Region, and Karenni State, a missed deadline to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding steps that Myanmar has taken to prevent ongoing genocide against the Rohingya reminds the world that the military’s brutal violence we see today did not begin with its illegal coup attempt of the 1st of February. The ongoing persecution of the Rohingya, highlighted by civil society organizations, should have been a tipping point to catalyze a more effective, coordinated international response.

မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံသို့ သွားမည့် မွတ်ဆလင် ၂၂၈ ဦးတင်ဆောင်လာသည့် စက်လှေတစီးကို စစ်တွေမြို့နယ် မေယု ကျွန်း အနောက်ဘက် ၁၇မိုင်အကွာတွင် ယမန်နေ့ နံနက်ပိုင်းက မြန်မာရေတပ်က ဖမ်းဆီးလိုက်ကြောင်း သိရ သည်။

အဆိုပါ စက်လှေသည် ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ်နိုင်ငံ ကူတူပါလောင် ဒုက္ခသည်စခန်းမှနေ မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံသို့ သွားရန် ထွက် ခွာလာ စက်လှေတစီးဖြစ်ကြောင်း လက်ရှိတွင် ဥပဒေအရ အရေးယူရန် ပြင်ဆင်နေကြောင်း ရခိုင်ပြည် နယ် စီမံ အုပ်ချုပ်ရေး ကောင်စီမှ အရာရှိတဦးက ပြောသည်။

၎င်းက “မနေ့က ဖမ်းမိတဲ့သူတွေက ကူတူပါလောင် ဒုက္ခသည်စခန်းကနေ မလေးရှားသွားဖို့ ထွက်လာကြတာ လို့ သူတို့က ထွက်ဆိုတယ်။ အဲဒီမှာ ၁၂ နှစ်အောက် ကလေးတွေလည်း ပါလာတော့ ကလေးတွေကိစ္စကို ကျေ နာ်တို့ ဘယ်လို ဆောင် ရွက်မယ်ဆိုတာ စီစဉ်နေကြတယ်။ ကျန်တဲ့ လူကြီးတွေကိုတော့ တရားဥပဒေအရ အ ရေး ယူဖို့ စီစဉ်နေပါတယ်” ဟု ဧရာ ဝတီသို့ ပြောသည်။

အဆိုပါ လူမှောင်ခို စက်လှေမှာ ဝဒီထွန်း (၅) အမည်ရှိပြီး စက်လှေပါ မြန်မာလူမျိုး (တရားခံ) ၅ ဦး၊ မွတ်ဆလင် (ကျား) ၇၀ ဦး၊ မွတ်ဆလင် (မ) ၁၂၅ ဦး၊ ကလေး ၃၃ ဦးတို့ ပါဝင်ကာ လက်ရှိအချိန်တွင် ၎င်းတို့ကို မည်သည့် နေ ရာတွင် ထိန်း သိမ်း စစ်ဆေးနေသည်ကိုတော့ မသိရပေ။

ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ် နိုင်ငံရောက် မွတ်ဆလင် ဒုက္ခသည်စခန်းများတွင် မွတ်ဆလင် လက်နက်များ ချင်းချင်းကြား ပဋိ ပက္ခဖြစ်ပွား မှုကြောင့် စခန်းရှိ မွတ်ဆလင် မိသားစုဝင်များမှာ မလေးရှား၊ ထိုင်း စသည့် နိုင်ငံများသို့ ထွက်ခွာမှု များရှိလို တချို့မှာလည်း နှစ်နိုင်ငံ နယ်စပ်မှတဆင့် ဘူးသီးတောင်၊ မောင်တောမြို့နယ်များသို့လည်း တရားမ ဝင် လမ်းကြောင်းဖြင့် ဝင်ရောက်မှု များရှိကြောင်း လေ့လာစောင့်ကြည့်သူများက ပြောသည်။

ပြီးခဲ့သော ၂၀၁၇ ခုနှစ်က ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သော မောင်တော အရေးအခင်းတွင် စစ်တပ်က နယ်မြေရှင်းလင်းမှုကြောင့် မွတ်ဆ လင် ကျေးရွာသားများ သိန်းနှင့်ချီ တဖက်ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ်နိုင်ငံသို့ ဝင်ရောက် ခိုလှုံသွားရာ လက်ရှိအချိန် အထိ အဆိုပါ မွတ် ဆလင်အရေးနှင့် ပတ်သက်ပြီး စစ်ကောင်စီက ပြန်လည် နေရာချထားမှု မပြုလုပ်နိုင် သေး ပေ။

ယခုလ နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၂၇ ရက်ကလည်း ဘူးသီးတောင်မြို့နယ်အတွင်း နေထိုင်ကြသော မွတ်ဆလင်များအ နေ ဖြင့် လဝက ဌာနက ထုတ်ပေးလေ့ရှိသော ခရီးသွားခွင့် (ပုံစံ – ၄) ရယူခြင်းမရှိဘဲ မြို့နယ်၊ ခရိုင်၊ ပြည်နယ်၊တိုင်း သို့ ကျော်လွန်ပြီး ခရီးသွားလာခွင့် မပြုကြောင်း ဒေသအာဏာပိုင်များက တားမြစ်စာ ထုတ်ထားသည်ကိုလည်း အင်တာနက် လူမှုကွန် ရက်တွင် တွေ့ရှိရသည်။

တားမြစ်ထားသည့်အတိုင်း လိုက်နာမှု မရှိဘဲ ဖောက်ဖျက် ကျူးလွန်သူများကိုလည်း တည်ဆဲဥပဒေနှင့်အညီ အရေးယူ ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည် ဖြစ်ကြောင်းကိုလည်း ဒေသအာဏာပိုင်များ၏ ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်တွင် ဖော်ပြပါရှိ သည်။

ဘူသီးတောင်မြို့နယ်အတွင်းကမွတ်ဆလက် ကျေးရွာလူကြီး တဦးက “ကျနော်တို့ NVC (National Verification Card) နဲ့ ခရီးသွားလာလို့ ရနေတာကို အခုလို ပုံစံ – ၄ ရ ယူပြီးမှ သွားရမယ် ဆိုတာကတော့ ကျ နော်တို့အတွက် တော်တော် အခက် အခဲဖြစ်တယ်။ ပုံစံ- ၄ ရဖို့ဆိုတာက ဒီအတိုင်း ထုတ်ပေးတာမှ မဟုတ် တာ။ အဆင့်ဆင့် တင် ပြရတယ်။ အချိန်ကုန်၊ ငွေ ကုန် ဖြစ်တာပေါ့” ဟု ဧရာဝတီသို့ ပြောသည်။

မွတ်ဆလင် ကျေးရွာသားများကို ထိုသို့ ခရီးသွားလာခြင်းမှ တားမြစ်မှုမှာ လုပ်ထုံး၊ လုပ်နည်းအရ မှန်ကန်သော် လည်း ပုံစံ – ၄ ထုတ်ပေးသည့် ဌာနဆိုင်ရာများကို ကိုယ်တိုင် အချိန်နှောင့်နှေး ကြန့်ကြာမှု မဖြစ်ရန် မြန်မြန်ဆန် ဆန် စိစစ်ကာ ထုတ်ပေး နိုင်မည် ဆိုပါက အားလုံးအတွက် အဆင်ပြေမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဘူးသီးတောင်မြို့နယ်၊ ပြည်သူ့လွှတ်တော် ကိုယ်စားလှယ် ဟောင်း ဦးအောင်သောင်းရွှေက ဆိုသည်။

The news came late due to the time difference. The six women of the Rohingya community, living as refugees in Bangladesh and who dared to tell that they had been raped by the military of their country while murdering their family, felt “relief and hope”. It is that they had just heard how thousands of kilometers away the Argentine Justice had resolved open a criminal case to investigate the crimes to which they and their community were subjected.

Argentina’s justice system will investigate allegations of war crimes committed by the Myanmar military against that country’s Rohingya minority under a court ruling upholding the principles of “universal justice”.

The appeals court decision, which Agence France-Presse has seen, overturns a lower court ruling rejecting a request for an investigation by the British-based Burmese Rohingya Organisation (BROUK).
