Rohingya youths have called upon the international community to ensure their children do not become a “lost generation” without an education or future. UN Secretary-General's special adviser on prevention of genocide Adama Dieng on Sunday called on the international community to put pressure on the government of Myanmar to fulfill its commitment for the safe and dignified return of Rohingyas to their place of origin.
"The Myanmar government has signed an agreement with Bangladesh. But to my view, still they're not fulfilling their commitment," he said. Dieng said it needs to be ensured that the conditions for safe and dignified return of Rohingyas are put in place but it is not yet the case.

Ninety-five years ago, Rabindranath Tagore (May 7, 1861 – Aug. 7, 1941), a Bengali polymath, poet, musician and artist, made his second visit to Myanmar. He made his first visit in 1916 and his third and final visit in 1927.
Tagore received a red-carpet welcome on all of his visits. The governor of British India, Sir Spencer Harcourt Butler, hosted a lunch for Tagore on his second visit.
