ရခိုင်ပြည်နယ်တွင် နိုင်ငံရေးပါတီများရှိသည်အနက် လက်ရှိ အအောင်မြင်ဆုံးနှင့် ရခိုင်လူထုကြား သြဇာအရှိ ဆုံး ပါတီမှာ ANP ရခိုင်အမျိုးသားပါတီ ဖြစ်သည်။ ပထမအကြိမ် ၂၁ ရာစုပင်လုံ ညီလာခံတွင် ANP ပါတီကတင်သွင်း သော စာတမ်း အရ ရခိုင်ပြည်နယ်နှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ANP ပါတီ လိုချင်သော နိုင်ငံရေးရည်မှန်း ချက် မှာ ကွန်ဖက် ဒရိတ် အဆင့်အတန်း ဖြစ်သည်ကို တွေ့ရသည်။ ANP နှင့် AA လျှောက်လှမ်းသည့် ပုံစံမတူ သော်လည်း နိုင်ငံရေး ရည်မှန်းချက်မှာ ယေဘုယျ အားဖြင့် တူညီသည်ဟု ဆိုနိုင်သည်။

While the world’s attention is focused on COVID-19, war is brewing in the jungles of western Myanmar. The Arakan Army, or AA, was formed just a few years ago by students, workers and farmers but has learned the ruthless tactics of guerrilla warfare quickly.

Major-General Twan Mrat Naing, its commander, aspires to no less than forging a new nation.

“My personal dream,” he said, “is to see our national flag at the Olympic Games and to hear our national anthem sung.”

Israel's arms sales have reached $7.2 billion in 2019, the Israeli Defense Ministry said on Monday.

"Despite the intense International challenges and competition, we have managed to keep Israel among the world's top 10 security exporters with a market share of over $7 billion," said Yair Kulas, head of the ministry's exports and defense cooperation division.

It's said that crises expose and exacerbate existing structural weaknesses.

The COVID-19 pandemic is exposing and exacerbating one of our greatest weaknesses - the treatment of refugees and people seeking asylum around the world.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) estimates there are now more than 70 million forcibly displaced people worldwide, including almost 30 million refugees and more than 40 million who have fled to other parts of their own country. Last year more people were forcibly internally displaced than ever before.

The online seminar titled ‘Rohingya Persecutions in Myanmar: Ethnic Cleansing or Genocide? A Theoretical and Empirical Study’ was held on Wednesday.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the EWU, conducted the seminar while Md. Pizuar Hossain, Senior Lecturer, Department of Law,of the university was speaker.
