A fire broke out at a Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar’s Ukhiya upazila again.
The incident occurred at the Balukhali refugee camp no 9 at around 2:30pm on Monday.
A madarasa facility was gutted in the fire. No casualties or major damage was reported in the fire.

AA Chief Does Not Want Myanmar’s Strikes and Protests in Rakhine State

The Arakan Army (AA) chief, Major General Tun Myat Naing, says he does not want Myanmar’s civil disobedience movement (CDM) and street protests spreading to Rakhine, saying they will disrupt the armed group’s attempt to secure greater autonomy.
In his Rakhine-language address on the 12th anniversary of the AA’s founding, Maj Gen Tun Myat Naing wrote: “We don’t want the CDM and street protests in Rakhine State. We have the ‘Way of Rakhita’. We have our goals. While we are taking concrete strides towards those goals, it is important not to get confused over other issues.”

MELBOURNE (Reuters) - S&P Dow Jones Indices said it is removing India’s Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd from its sustainability index due to the firm’s business ties with Myanmar’s military which is accused of human rights abuses after a coup this year.
The company, which is building a $290 million port in Yangon on land leased from the military-backed Myanmar Economic Corporation (MEC), did not immediately respond to a Reuters emailed request for comment.
Adani Group said late last month it would consult authorities and stakeholders on the project after human rights groups reported that its ports unit had an agreement to pay millions of dollars in rent to MEC.

“Piles of bodies” were seen in one city in Myanmar after another gruesome attack by the country’s security forces against its own people.
Dozens of people were killed in the city of Bago Friday, “leaving piles of bodies in pagodas and on school grounds” in the deadliest single incident in Myanmar since a coup toppled the elected government Feb. 1, according to Radio Free Asia and other reports.

A security guard was wounded in a bomb blast outside a military-owned bank in Myanmar’s second-biggest city yesterday morning, as the civilian death toll from the junta’s brutal crackdown on dissent topped more than 700 at the weekend.
The country has been in turmoil since the military removed Burmese State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi on Feb. 1.
Myawaddy Bank’s biggest branch in Mandalay was targeted yesterday morning and a security guard was injured in the explosion, local media reported.
The bank is one of scores of military-controlled businesses that have faced boycott pressure since the coup, with many customers demanding to withdraw their savings.

Russia and China are frustrating the international response to the Myanmar crisis, a top European Union diplomat said Sunday, as the death toll from a military crackdown climbed past 700.
Myanmar has been in turmoil since the military removed civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi from power on February 1.
International efforts to stem the violence have so far failed to yield results, with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell saying Sunday it was “no surprise” that Russia and China were blocking efforts at the UN Security Council to impose an arms embargo.
