၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လပထမအတွင်း မြန်မာအစိုးရနိုင်ငံတော်၏အတိုင်ပင်ခံပုဂ္ဂိုလ် ဒေါ်အောင်ဆန်းစုကြည် သည် ဥပရောပနိုင်ငံ နှစ်နိုင်ငံဖြစ်သော ချက်သမ္မတနိုင်ငံနှင့် ဟန်ဂေရီနိုင်ငံများသို့ သွားရောက်ခဲ့သည်။ ချက် သမ္မတနိုင်ငံခရီးစဉ်သည် ချက်သမ္မတနိုင်ငံဝန်ကြီးချုပ်၏ ဖိတ်ကြားချက်အရ သွားရောက်သည့် တရားဝင် ခ ရီး စဉ်ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ဟန်ဂေရီ ခရီးစဉ်မှာ အလုပ်သဘောခရီးစဉ်ဖြစ်သည်။ ဇွန်လ(၃)ရက်နေ့တွင် ချက်သမ္မတနိုင်ငံ Prague မြို့၌ တွေ့ဆုံအပြီး နှစ်နိုင်ငံချစ်ကြည်ရေး၊ ကုန်သွယ်ရေး၊ စီးပွားရေး၊ ယဉ်ကျေးမှု၊ ပညာရေး၊ ကျန်း မာရေး၊ ခရီးသွားလုပ်ငန်း စသည့်ကဏ္ဍရပ်များတွင် အပြန်အလှန် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ပြီး နှစ်နိုင်ငံအဆင့် မြင့် ခေါင်းဆောင်များ အပြန်အလှန်လည်ပတ်သွားလာရေး တိုးမြှင့်ဆောင်ရွက် သွားရန်တို့ကို နိုင်ငံတော်အ တိုင် ပင်ခံရုံးက သတင်းထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။
ချက်သမ္မတနိုင်ငံခရီးစဉ်အပြီး ဒေါ်အောင်ဆန်းစုကြည်နှင့်အဖွဲ့သည် ဟန်ဂေရီနိုင်ငံသို့ ခရီးဆက်သွားခဲ့ကြ ပြီး၊ ဇွန်လ(၅)ရက်နေ့က ဟန်ဂေရီဝန်ကြီးချုပ် Mr. Viktor Orban နှင့် ဘူဒါပတ်စ်မြို့၌ အလုပ်သဘောတွေ့ ဆုံဆွေးနွေးခဲ့သည်။ ဟန်ဂေရီဝန်ကြီးချုပ်နှင့်ဒေါ်အောင်ဆန်းစုကြည်တို့တွေ့ဆုံအပြီးတွင် နှစ်ဘက်မှ သက် ဆိုင်ရာအစိုးရများအနေဖြင့် သတင်းထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့ကြသည်။

Two U.N. bodies have given the Myanmar government one more year, to establish a framework for the voluntary return of ethnic Rohingya Muslims to their homes.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on Tuesday signed extension of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Myanmar for one year.

A nationwide campaign in the UAE to support Rohingya refugees has raised a total of AED65 million ($17.7 million).

From the UAE for Rohingya Children and Women aims to escalate the UAE's efforts from providing emergency humanitarian assistance to sustainable programmes that help meet the growing needs of education, food, health services, water, sanitation and shelter materials for more than 1.2 million refugees, including 720,000 children, 240,000 women, and 48,000 elderly people.

OIC condemns inhumane situation of Myanmar's Rohingya

CAIRO (Reuters) - The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit condemned the inhumane situation of Rohingya Muslims, urging a halt to violence, it said in a statement on Saturday.

The summit in Mecca also stressed that Myanmar’s government has the responsibility to protect its citizens, the statement added.

This is how the United States could gain leverage in a region where it is losing ground at an exponential rate.

The Rohingya refugees are probably going to be shifted to a newly “civilized” isolated Island in the middle of Bay of Bengal. However, China is reportedly offering Rohingya refugees $6,000 each to go back to Myanmar-Rakhine, the district from which they fled a “textbook case of ethnic cleansing.” On the other hand, China also helps Bangladesh government making the Rohingya Island habitable. The Burmese government, even Bangladesh government too, eventually might come onboard to send off the Rohingyas, without any promise of citizenship or permanent settlement, given the new rapprochement between Dhaka and Beijing, breaking away from its long-held “India first” policy. In the entire picture, however, the United States is missing in action. In fact, this might be the United States’ last opportunity to keep exerting its influence in the Bay of Bengal.
