The genocide of the Rohingya in northern Rakhine State has already reached to 6 years anniversary on August 25 today, and the annual event has been held internationally, including at the Thai-Myanmar border and in Canada.

“The 6th anniversary of the genocide is according to specifications. Actually, it is more than 6 years. As far as we know, it has been systematically initiated since 1942. As far as we know now, China-Myanmar-Bangladesh is working together to repatriate the Rohingyas. The Rohingyas also want to be allowed to return home safely and with dignity. It is also known that they categorically denied that they would not return if they did not receive such things,” an official from the Myanmar Muslim Revolutionary Force (MMRF) told MPA.

In addition, the MMRF said that the international community wants to recognize the rights of the Rohingya people and recognize them as real refugees.

“The Rohingya people are now in a situation of temporary rescue and do not have the rights of refugees. In their own country, they are helpless and have no place to live. This situation should be dealt with by the international community,” said Rohingya activist Ma Ro Thin Thin Hlaing.

“In addition, it should be strongly expressed that the Rohingya people are the people among the people. They want clearly the National Unity Government to be welcomed the Rohingyas seriously. If the Rohingya people are recognized, the government that stands for all people can be removed from discrimination in the future, can be formed,” the revolutionary forces also commented to MPA.

“As long as the military leader Min Aung Hlaing who systematically commits genocide remains, the Rohingyas will not be able to return home in any way. If our country becomes an all-inclusive federal union, the Rohingyas must return. Now there are many people in Bangladesh. The Rohingya who have escaped from the genocide of almost 1 million Rohingya, need international humanitarian aid. We are also trying it,” said U Tun Khin, chairman of the Burmese Rohingya Organization – BRO.

In 2017, more than 300 villages were destroyed by the Myanmar army in Rakhine State, and more than 700,000 Rohingya fled to Bangladesh and have not been able to return to the country until now.

“Living under the good ruler is Islam. The revolutionary struggle for liberation from the evil ruler is Islam. The extremist military group led by Min Aung Hlaing is even more evil than the evil king, so I would like to say that it is high time for both the Rohingya community and the Myanmar-Muslim community to come together and work together with people of all races and religions,” said U Tun Kyi, a former Muslim prisoner, told MPA.

The UN Human Rights Office has issued a statement that it is necessary to take action against the SAC military, which is repeatedly oppressing the Rohingya, and to prevent human rights violations and human suffering throughout the country.
