Armed Police Battalion (APBn) on Friday arrested four people in connection with the murder of a Rohingya man in Tajnimarkhola camp in Ukhiya upazila of Cox's Bazar.
The arrested are- Zahid Hossain of camp-13, Mohammad Yasin of camp-15, Noor Alam of camp-19, Mohammad Gani of camp-13, Assistant Superintendent of Police of APBn-8 Faruq Ahmed said.
They were arrested from camps no- 13 and 19 on Friday morning, he added.
On Tuesday, a Rohingya man named Syed Hossain was hacked to death by masked men in Tajnimarkhola camp.
Later, the victim's brother filed a murder case naming four people.
Syed was not the first to be killed in such a manner. Earlier on October 16, two Rohingya men named- Maulvi Md Yunus and Anwar Hossain were also killed in an attack by a group of unidentified miscreants at Balukhali Rohingya camp in Ukhiya upazila of Cox's Bazar.
