The woman was applying for a passport with the help of a middleman
Police detained a Rohingya woman and a middleman for applying for a passport with fake documents at the Narsingdi regional passport office on Sunday afternoon.
Yasmin Akhter, 20, with the help of Iman Ali, 40, applied for a passport with fake documents, said Assistant director of Narsingdi regional passport office, Shahjahan Kabir.
"Upon interrogation we have identified the Rohingya woman and handed both of them over to the police," added Shahjahan.
Narsingdi model police station OC Sayeduzzaman said the woman will be sent to her camp and necessary action will be taken against Iman Ali.
