Despite the fact of the Burmese military having an appalling human rights record, Britain has been giving training to this monstrous regiment at the cost of British tax-payers.

In September 2017, a group of 157 MPs called on the then Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson to halt Britain’s military training in Myanmar, which cost the UK around £305,000 in the previous year. Although in response, Mr Jhonson said, Britain was not giving any combat training to the Myanmar military. Rather it was educating them on democracy, leadership and the English language.

In November 2016, the former Armed Forces Minister Mike Penning said it was yet unknown whether the Myanmar soldiers trained by the UK have any involvement in operations carried out against the Rohingya.

In a letter to Johnson, the parliamentarians, led by Labour MP Rushanara Ali, who co-chairs the all-party parliamentary group for democracy in Myanmar, said: “Based on reports from the United Nations, human rights organizations and Rohingya organizations, we are witnessing human rights violations on a scale extreme even by the standards of Myanmar’s (Burma’s) history.

“Estimates of people killed range from official figures of hundreds dead, to estimates by reliable Rohingya organizations of between 2,000 to 3,000 killed.

“Eye-witnesses describe civilians being shot indiscriminately, people forced to lie down in rows and then shot in the back of the head, beheadings, rape, rounding people up into buildings which are then set fire to, and deliberate shooting of children.

“At the same time (militant group) ARSA (Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army) appears to have been targeting ethnic Rakhine, the Mro community and people of other races and religions, exacerbating communal tensions and violence”.

Nazi prototype Special Unit in Myanmar army
According to a secret intelligence report, Myanmar military has established a ‘Special Unit’ copying Adolph Hitler’s Nazi ‘SS’ Force, who are assigned of committing genocide on the religious minorities, including Christians, Muslims and Hindus.

Age limit of this special unit are between 20-35, who also are trained of cruelties such as raping minors and women as well as killing infants. The size of this ‘Special Unit’ is something in between 500-700 members.
