Deals on heavy wheels for Chinese New Year.

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, a subsidiary of German automotive giant Daimler AG, is set to expand its footprint in Myanmar with the opening a major showroom in Yangon that is expected to be open by the end of this year.

In order to support the continuing growth of Myanmar’s economy, the FUSO 4S Showroom will be opened at lot No. 25 and 26, No.3 High Way, Thit Seik Kone Ward, Mingalardon Township, Yangon. After the opening of the FUSO 4S Showroom, sales, spare parts, after-sales service and body painting will be available to customers at a single convenient location. 

The new showroom is currently under construction and is expected to be completed at the end of this year, a spokesman for the company said.

Fuso first entered the local market in 2014, with a range of trucks with load capacities ranging from four tonnes to 65 tonnes. The company’s vehicles are distributed by Cycle & Carriage Myanmar. The company now has existing showrooms in Yangon and Mandalay.

The company’s vehicles are produced in compliance with Japanese standards and are commonly used in many parts of Asia, Africa, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East.

The company says the vehicles it offers, ranging from light and heavy trucks to mini buses in numerous body and engine configurations, are suitable for the local market and can be used by business in varied sectors such as distribution and long-travel logistics, construction and tourism. 

In conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year, the company says it is offering special promotions on its TV10-wheeled engine, FZ 6-wheeled and 10-wheeled engines, FV10-wheeled engine, FJ Tipper, Mixer, Hook lift, Tanker, Wind Body,

Refrigerator Box, Dry Box and Curtain Slider trucks. From now until February 15, customers who purchase the vehicles will receive free maintenance for up to 200,000 kilometres and discounts from US$58,888.
