The deceased had multiple bullet wounds
Police have recovered a bullet-ridden Rohingya man's body from Teknaf in Cox's Bazar.
The deceased has been identified as Md Sadek, 35, son of Md Jalil; both residents of the Nayapara Rohingya Camp's H block.
The body was recovered from the hill near Nayapara Rohingya Camp, in Nhilla union of Teknaf upazila, around 7:30am on Tuesday.
Confirming the matter to the Dhaka Tribune Teknaf police station Officer-in-Charge Pradip Kumar Das said: "The deceased had multiple cases to his name. His body had multiple bullet wounds. We recovered dacoit [robber] Sadek's body from the hill near the Rohingya camp.
"We are still looking into the matter. Necessary steps will be taken upon further investigation."
