ရခိုင်ပြည်နယ်၊ မင်းပြားမြို့မှာ ည ၉ နာရီကနေ မနက် ၅ နာရီအထိ ညမထွက်ရအမိန့်ကို မင်းပြားမြို့နယ် အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးမှူးက ဒီကနေ့ရက်စွဲနဲ့ ထုတ်ပြန်လိုက်ပါတယ်။ ပုဒ်မ ၁၄၄ အရထုတ်ပြန်တဲ့ အဲဒီ ညမထွက်ရ အမိန့်ကို ဒီကနေ့ကစပြီး ၂ လကြာထိ အတည်ဖြစ်တဲ့အကြောင်း အမိန့်စာမှာ ဖော်ပြ ထားပါတယ်။

၎င်းတို့အနေဖြင့် မြန်မာမီဒီယာများ၏ လွတ်လပ်စွာသတင်းရယူခွင့် ကန့်သတ်ခံရသည့် အခက်အခဲကို နား လည်သဖြင့် တက်နိုင်သမျှ မြေပြင်သတင်းရယူမှုလုပ်ငန်းများကို ကူညီမည့်အကြောင်းကိုလည်း သတင်း ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့ပြီးဖြစ်ကြောင်း သူက ပြောသည်။ လက်ရှိ သတင်းဌာနများထံ သူတို့အမည်သုံး၍ ပျံ့နှံ့လာသည့် ခြိမ်းခြောက်မှုများသည် တပ်မတော်၊ စိတ်ဓါတ်စစ်ဆင်ရေးဌာန၏ လက်ချက်ဖြစ်နိုင်ကြောင်း သူက စွပ်စွဲ သည်။

British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Chatterton Dickson recently visited the Rohingya Camps in Cox’s Bazar to witness how the UKAid is helping provide emergency food, safe water and hygiene for the Rohingya refugees, according to a post shared by British High Commission in Dhaka on its official Facebook page on Tuesday.

Conditions deteriorate for Rohingya in Myanmar and Bangladesh’s refugee camps as countries around the globe close their doors.

When taken up, the rod of violence
breeds danger and fear.
Seeing people in strife,
I will tell you how I experienced terror.
Seeing people like fish in a pool with little water
competing with one another.
As I saw this, fear came.
The world was entirely without substance.
Every direction was in tumult.
Wanting a haven for myself,
I didn’t see any place unoccupied.

It’s easy to imagine the above lines written by a Rohingya refugee caught between the guns of Myanmar and the ramshackle camps of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. They weren’t. They were spoken by Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha, around 2,500 years ago as he went out into the wider world and saw the terrible toll of human violence and inter-communal conflict (SN 4:15, Attadandasutta; author’s translation).

UNHCR gives buses for students in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar city

UN refugee agency UNHCR donated five buses for students of local colleges in Ukhiya and Cox’s Bazar city.

The gesture is part of the agency’s appreciation of the local community’s role in responding to the Rohingya influx since August 2017, UNHCR said in a statement.

(Bangkok) ­ The Bangladeshi government has expelled scores of Rohingya refugee children from schools in southeast Bangladesh since late January 2019, Human Rights Watch said today. Officials have ordered secondary schools near the refugee settlements in the Cox’s Bazar district to dismiss Rohingya students, who lack Bangladeshi citizenship.

Nabi Hussain owes his life to a yellow plastic oil drum. The 13-year-old Rohingya boy could not swim, and had never even seen the sea before fleeing his village in Myanmar. But he clung to the empty drum and struggled across the water with it for about 2.5 miles, all the way to Bangladesh.
